BioJervis was raised by busy, working parents. He spent his childhood with books and dolls for friends. He was born with sotos syndrome, causing him to be more awkward than the average boy, with an oversized head and large teeth. He was also a bit poor with socializing, but his parents were proud of his intelligence and studies. He learned computer programming from books and the internet at a young age.
Though he never did well with his fellow students, Jervis excelled in school. He skipped a few grades, making it even harder for him to fit in. In college, he dual majored in computer engineering and biotechnology. He went into further studies for as long as he was able to earn scholarships and earn grants for his papers on the use of microchip technology for enhancing the human brain or compensating for brain damage.
When he eventually got a very handsome job offer from Wayne Industries, he took a position with their medical research and development team. Jervis has been a Wayne Tech lab rat ever since. Nearly ten years now. He's very proud of his work, though he wishes he's often frustrated with the red tape and 'ethics' limitations around medical development.
He lives alone in a small apartment in Gotham. He makes enough money to live on the 'better' side of town, but has never seen a reason to rent more space than he needs for himself and his cats (Cheshire and Dinah). His day is very routine: Wake to tea and toast and reading, go to work, tea and sandwich for late lunch alone in the break room, work, head home, supper with Cheshire and Dinah. Recently, his 6 o'clock tea has become more exhilarating. A young girl from down the hall has taken a fondness for his cats and comes to visit, have tea, and hear stories. This is all very nice indeed.
